Exhibit A is a new fine-dining restaurant situated on the 3rd floor at Villa 47. The contemporary 40-seater is the brainchild of Chef Rikku Ó Donnchü and Chef Warwick King and one lucky Eat Out reader will win the opportunity to enjoy a 7-course wine pairing experience here.
Defined by world-class cuisine, a wide selection of international wines, and incredible service, Exhibit A is a brand new fine-dining restaurant located on the 3rd floor at 47 Bree Street, Cape Town. The name has a story of its own and relates not only to art but science too – both central to the experience.
Chef Warwick King previously worked at Delaire Graff and Chef Rikku Ó’Donnchü, previously of the Michelin Starred kitchens of The Fat Duck and the French Laundry and winner of ‘Global Best Head Chef’ at the World Luxury Restaurant Awards. Chris Morrison also previously of The Fat Duck has joined Exhibit A as head pastry chef.
Exhibit A offers a new wave of South African cuisine. Serious about sustainability, Ó’Donnchü and King have designed a menu that elevates local dishes by using indigenous ingredients. These include foraged sea vegetables from the west coast, seafood from False Bay and Saldanha, Cape Duck, and Spekboom.
The restaurant is open for lunch and dinner Tuesday to Saturday and offers a five, seven and 12-course tasting menu. A vegetarian option is available too.
